The Academic Beta is a version of Kodu Game Lab which schools can apply to be involved in, using a slightly different build which enables users to change the name that games are associated with. The technical beta version uses the logged in windows username. Two icons are created by the Kodu installer. Kodu Game Lab which launches kodu and Configure Kodu Game Lab which allows the screen size and location of the game data to be specified (for the Academic beta).
